At this time, team memberships will be double-checked. In order to compete at the Mohawk Valley Regional Tournament, all participants must show their National Membership Card. The membership names and numbers will be examined at the registration table.
9:00 a.m. - LONG –TERM and SPONTANEOUS Performances will begin
4:00 p.m. - AWARD CEREMONY
LONG-TERM PROBLEM PAPERWORK
Please have the following items (copies are in the Odyssey of the Mind Program Guide) prepared and ready to be handed to the Staging Area judges at the time of the Long Term performance.
- Outside Assistance Form – include student birthdates
- Style Form (4 copies)
- Material Values Form
- Any Problem Clarifications your team has requested and received
HOSPITALITY AREAS
There will be rooms or hallways designated for storage for each membership or team. Hospitality areas will be assigned at the Registration Table.
Please be sure to supply adequate adult supervision for both your students and your props, as these areas may have to be shared by more than one team/school. It is imperative that, when the day is over, the space you occupy be returned to the exact state it was in when you entered it. Please remember to pick up your areas. In the past, you have been especially good about this. Thank You!!
PARKING, LUNCH, AND FOOD
Upon arrival, school buses will have to park in the ASSIGNED parking areas and materials will have to be carried into the building. Spectators and parents must use the parking lots.
Your teams and parents should plan to eat in the school cafeteria. There will be a wide variety of foods available for breakfast and lunch. There are also vending machines that supply fruit drinks and beverages.
TEAM PICTURES
Professional quality team pictures are available. The price will be $5 for each 4x6 photo and if a team buys 5 they get one free.
