High School Holiday Concert

Students in the open chorus, jazz ensemble, concert choir and concert band entertained family, friends and community members at Broadalbin-Perth High School’s annual Holiday Concert on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The first song performed by the open chorus, “A Festive Fa La La,” was accompanied by student Walter Sadie. The jazz ensemble performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” which featured a trumpet solo by Trey Sweet and a tenor saxophone solo by Zach Hatcher, as well as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” which featured Adam Rasefske on trumpet and Andrew Bogdan on alto sax. Alexandra Hill and Addam Stevens both sang solos during the concert choir’s performance of “The First Breath of Winter,” and Jake Samples played a trumpet solo during the concert band’s playing of “Bell Carol a la Big Band.”
The B-P high school choirs are under the direction of Mrs. Maureen Mikucki and the bands are directed by Mr. Michael Calvello.

On these days, High School students will be released at 10:20 a.m.
