Junior Timeline September:
- Check your schedule, make sure that you have all the courses that you want and need
- Sign up for the PSAT, a pretest for the SAT
- Consider taking the College Admissions Prep course offered at BP
- Get involved in clubs or activities
October:
- FMCC College Fair, over 200 college admission representatives available to speak to, in addition to informative seminars
- PSAT/NMSQT
December:
- Attend Financial Aid Night @ BPHS
- Attend PSAT results night for students and parents
January:
- Sign up for the SAT and ACT college admission tests
February:
- Attend Junior Parent Night for students and parents
- Meet with your School Counselor to schedule senior year classes and insure that you have all the credits needed for graduation
March:
- Attend Making Your College Search Count at BPHS
- Beginning round of discussion about college choices with students, parents and counselor
- Sign up for SAT's and ACT's
- Review College catalog materials
- Compare and contrast your findings
- Visit college campuses
- Attend college fairs
