Our Mission Statement

With the newly adopted grade 6 textbook History Alive! The Ancient World, the entire Middle School Social Studies department will strive to indeed bring history alive in the classroom. The 7^th and 8^th grade has been using History Alive! The United States for several years. Cooperative learning activities that encourage learning from multiple intelligences are a part of each chapter.

We feel this will better prepare the students are they take the New York State Assessment at the end of 8^th grade.
