Students in Kelly Hanson and Jim Paquin’s classes at B-P Intermediate School brought to life figures from the American Revolution Thursday in a special presentation for family members. The presentation, “George vs. George: Revolutionary Rumblings,” featured children reading speeches they researched and wrote in the first person as historical figures who were loyal to King George and patriots under General George Washington.

The students were all dressed in costumes that they created with the help of their parents. Teaching assistant Jen Szumowski also worked with the students to help prepare them for the presentation.
