 Grade 7 French - Introduction of all French basics!

 Examples:       

Textbook - The M.S. French textbook is "Bon Voyage". The publisher is Glencoe-McGraw-Hill.- Copyright 2002.          

• Chapters 1 - 6  are completed this year. 

• including - actions/ likes / dislikes/ home life/ shopping/ foods/ drinks/ dining out/ places/ questioning/ negatives/ culture, etc.   

•        In 7th grade students learn a lot of French vocabulary and start putting thoughts and sentences together.

• Reading, writing, listening and speaking are practiced.           

Grade 8 - French

•  Students review ALL 7th grade material!

•  They continue in the textbook chapters 7 - 12 -

•  including--- (actions - reg. and irregular verbs/ clothing/ travel/ sports/ activities/ daily routines/ comparisons/ superlatives/ possessives/ idioms/ past tense/ culture/ etc.).          

• Students can ask and answer questions, discuss topics in the target language and spend quite a bit of time preparing for the NY State Proficiency Exam in June of each year.  More information can be found by clicking on this link NY State Proficiency.
