Communications

The Broadalbin-Perth communications office strives to be the first and best source of information about the district, from the classroom to the boardroom. The office’s staff of three communications professionals work with teachers, administrators and support staff to keep the community engaged in the schools, informed about district happenings, and inspired by the successes of our students.

The communications office manages the district website, as well as Broadalbin-Perth’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts. Members of the communications staff also produce the annual wall calendar, budget newsletter and other district-wide publications; support the Patriot Portal; manage the Blackboard (ParentLink) mass notification system and mobile app; and represent the district when speaking with members of the local news media. The communications team also supports district administrators and faculty in applying for competitive corporate, state and federal grants.
