Supporting Students: What Our School Offers

Parent / Teacher/ Principal Conferences

If your child is having academic difficulties and you are unsure how to proceed on taking corrective action- please call us. We can help. Faculty and administrators are available Mondays through Fridays at 2:00 PM to meet with parents and students. Please contact Mrs. Bond to arrange an appointment at 954-2620.

Parent / Pupil Services Team Member/ Principal

If your child's academic performance is being affected by social, emotional, or other unknown factor, a meeting that incorporates appropriate member(s)from the Pupil Services team may be of assistance. Please contact Mrs. LaFountain or Mrs. Simonson in the Guidance Department to arrange this conference at 954-2620.

Student Study Teams

Parents who have tried to address academic or personal concerns regarding their child via those formats listed above, but where efforts continue to fall short of 'success', may request this assistance.

In this format all faculty and staff involved with the student, as well as relevant members from the Pupil Services team, are conferred with. This '360 degree viewpoint' permits student difficulties to be better pinpointed, and the fullest range of resource opportunities, as well as obstacles, can be identified and acted on.

While it is our preference that parents attend such conference, we recognize that employment constraints may prevent attendance. A parent in such circumstance may request that the Student Study Team meet to discuss concerns about their child. The Team's findings and recommendations can then be conveyed to the Parent via an early AM or PM conference with an administrator, or through phone conference with school guidance personnel.

Administrator Conferences

Early morning or evening parent and/or student conferences may be scheduled with Mrs. Blowers or Mr. Ziskin for individuals unable to meet during the regular school day.
