Grading Procedures
A+ = Perfect Work
A, A- = Excellent Work
B+, B = Very Good, Good
B-, C+, C = Average, Satisfactory
C-, D = Below Average, Struggling
F = Failing

Reading - Grades will be taken from work done during class;
response writing, quizzes and tests.
Math - Number grades are taken directly from the assessments
and averaged.
Spelling - Number grades are taken directly from the weekly
tests and averaged with their spelling performance in
class.
Writing - Grades will be taken from language arts assignments
and averaged with all writing pieces done in class.
Science - Grades are taken from quizzes, tests, homework, work
done in the lab, work done in the classroom and journal
entries.
Social Studies - Grades are taken from quizzes, tests, projects,
homework and work done in class.
