Students in grades
K-2 will learn technology skills as they are infused in to their
existing academic curriculum to assist in the development of reading,
writing, math, science, art and social studies skills. |

Students will use appropriate instructional software to support
learning in the curricular areas. |
| 2. Students will use a variety of technology
resources for directed and independent learning activities. |
| 3. Students will identify the different parts
of a computer and their uses. |
| 4. Students will communicate
about technology using appropriate terminology for their age level. |
| 5. Students will exhibit proper care and usage
of computer systems and software |
| 6. Students will use input devices (mouse / keyboard)
menus, special keys and fingering techniques to interact with a computer. |
| 7. Students will demonstrate positive social
and ethical behavior when using technology. |
| 8. Students will use the
computer to communicate with others by drawing or writing. Students
will save, modify and
print their work. |
| 9. Students will demonstrate the ability to follow
visual, oral and written instruction at their developmental level
while using technology tools. |
10. Students will discuss the social impact
of computer technology on our lifestyle and recognize computers
are used in different careers for many purposes.
