On Thursday morning, the lawn next to Patriot Field at Broadalbin-Perth High School was transformed into a scaled-down version of a county fair, complete with animals to pet, ponies to ride, carnival games, and more.

The fifth annual Kinder County Fair invited kindergartners and their parents to try their hand at a variety of games, pet and brush bunnies, and ride ponies. They had the opportunity to peruse student-created projects that were on display. Students waited their turn at the dunk tank, where members of the faculty volunteered to get wet over and over at the hands of the kindergartners. And like at any good fair, treats like popcorn and sweets were available for the students to munch on.
