Safety Information
Our children's safety is our paramount concern.
Please do your part to help make our buses safe!

Drivers: It is illegal to overtake a stopped school bus displaying red flashing warning lights - both on public roads and on school property.
Students: Conduct yourselves in an orderly and safe manner. Students who do not adhere to safety rules could lose bus-riding privileges.
Note: Video cameras will be randomly placed on district school buses to help combat disciplinary problems and vandalism.

Important Safety Notes:
  • Stand back from the road while waiting for the bus.
  • Cross the street only when the driver signals for you to do so.
  • Make sure the driver can see you.
  • Enter and leave the bus in an orderly manner. Wait for the door to open.
  • Do not distract the driver.
  • Respond promptly to instructions.
  • Remain seated while the bus is moving.
  • Do not touch other students or their property.
  • Don't eat, drink, or smoke on the bus.
  • Keep all items - including your feet - out of the aisles.
  • Don't tamper with emergency exits.
