The 2009 and 2011 varsity boys soccer teams will be inducted into the Broadalbin-Perth Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, June 15. The ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. in the Margaret Blowers Auditorium.

The 2009 squad won the Class B Regional Championship and made it to the Final Four of the Class B State Championship, finishing the season with a record of 18-2-2. The 2011 team captured the Class B State Championship and finished the season undefeated with a 19-0-3 record.

“It is fitting that both the 2009 and 2011 boys soccer teams will be inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame together,” said Brian Henry, who served as head coach. “Their accomplishments on the field have shattered the record books and the positive impact they have had on the B-P soccer program has been felt for the past decade.”

Community members are invited to attend the ceremony, which will begin with the formal induction followed by a reception in the high school cafeteria.
