Broadalbin-Perth fully supports Fulton County’s and New York State’s COVID-19 contact tracing efforts and strongly encourages all members of the community to answer their phones and comply with all directives from Fulton County and the NYS Department of Health.
Our B-P Character Kids stopped by Amsterdam City Hall to lend a helping hand to Amsterdam Mayor Michael Cinquanti and NYS Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara.
As per our district’s reopening plan, the student was enrolled in the 100% remote learning model for their B-P courses and therefore has not been in the building. At this time, all Broadalbin-Perth school buildings remain open for in-person instruction.
B-P’s district-wide mental health counselor Julie Lapham will lead a discussion about the unique stresses that many parents are experiencing right now with tips on how to recognize and properly manage stress, while placing a priority on mental, physical and spiritual self care.
“I’m proud that the school day at B-P looks relatively ‘normal,’ considering the circumstances. But the more ‘normal’ we try to make things for our children, the more precautions we need to take to minimize the risk of spreading of COVID-19.”
