Summer School

TLC and B-P Intermediate School

During summer 2017, students entering grades K-7 at Broadalbin-Perth have an opportunity to enroll in the FREE B-P Summer Academy. During this four-week session, students of all ages and abilities will engage in a variety of hands-on learning opportunities in the core areas of math and English Language Arts, as well as participating in:

  • STEAM activities;
  • Cooking;
  • Nature walks;
  • Journal writing;
  • Think Tank/ESP-type activities; and
  • Physical education, team-building and Project Adventure-type activities.

Interested families should complete and return the sign-up form by Friday, June 9.

Transportation to and from school is being provided to all B-P Summer Academy participants thanks to a generous donation from the PTO.

B-P Middle and High School

Students entering grades 8 or 9 can enroll in the 2017 HFM Regional Middle School Summer Enrichment Program. The program will be held at the HFM Main Campus in the Adirondack Academy Wing. It will run from July 10 to August 10, Monday through Thursday from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Transportation will be provided and breakfast and lunch will be served. Participating students should take part in both the ELA and math sections. A link to enroll online will be provided by BPMS guidance counselors.

2017 HFM Regional Middle School Summer Enrichment Program Handbook

Broadalbin-Perth High School students can enroll in the 2017 HFM BOCES Regional Summer School at Gloversville High School. The program will run from Monday, July 10 to Tuesday, August 15. Regents exams will be administered August 16 and 17. There will be three class sessions per day, from 7:30 to 9:20 a.m., 9:30 to 11:20 a.m., and 11:40 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Students can register with their guidance counselors until June 27. Late registration will be held at Gloversville High School from 8 a.m. to noon June 28-30.
