Facility Use Requests

The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District encourages community use of school facilities when such use is in the public interest, does not conflict with school activities, and is not detrimental to the purpose of schools. Residents, staff members, and community groups can make requests to use the district’s facilities by following these steps:

Register for a New Account

All facility use requests are completed online using ML Schedules. The first step needed to make an online facility use request is to create an ML Schedules user account. Be sure to complete all information fields and then click the submit button. Outside groups must have a current certificate of insurance on file through their ML Schedules account before they may reserve a space. (Learn how to upload your certificate of insurance.)

All outside organizations MUST contact Lisa Schimmenti at 518-954-2501 before their accounts will be approved! After speaking with Mrs. Schimmenti, you will receive an e-mail confirmation when your account is approved to make facility use requests.

Note, Broadalbin-Perth employees do not need to register for user accounts in ML Schedules. They can log in using their B-P Google account, or directly by using their B-P username (last name plus first initial; for example, John Smith would be smithj) and the password they use to access their district computers. Employees who experience issues logging into ML Schedules should submit an IT help desk ticket.

Log In and Request a Space

Once you have created an account, you can make a request to reserve B-P facilities using ML SchedulesWatch this video for a step-by-step guide to making a request.

Please review the board policy regarding use of school facilities before requesting a space. Requests must be submitted at least 14 days in advance. School district groups may reserve facilities up to a year in advance; outside groups may reserve facilities up to six months in advance.

No outside group with an outstanding facility use balance may request to reserve a space in the future until that balance is paid in full. The district requires a $500 deposit for all for-profit groups reserving a space. That deposit must be paid within 72 hours of a space request being approved or the district reserves the right to cancel the facility use reservation.

If you need to cancel a request, please make every effort to do so with at least 24 hours notice.

Please note that if the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District closes because of inclement weather or another emergency situation at one or both of its campuses, all scheduled events at the affected campuses will be canceled. Check your account or the facility use calendar to review the status of any facility requests you have made.
