The artistic talents of seven Broadalbin-Perth High School students will be featured at the 27th Annual Regional Juried High School Art Exhibit at Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC). Of nearly 375 submissions from 15 high schools, 79 pieces of art were chosen to be part of the exhibit.
Congratulations to the following art students for having pieces selected: (seniors) Rhys Floyd, Jacqueline Hillard, (juniors) Jeffrey Schlomovich, Lauren Walters, (sophomores) Juliana Carey, Izzy Donahue and Maura McCloskey.
“I am delighted that our students were accepted into this Juried show,” high school art teacher Wendy Carroll said. “It is highly competitive.”
The exhibit is on display at the Perella Gallery on the FMCC campus April 5-17 with an awards ceremony from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17. Both the exhibit and ceremony are open to the public. The gallery is located between the Evans Library and theater at the western end of O’Connell Hall.
