BPES Drama Club hosts virtual “Friends”-themed trivia night fundraiser 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, April 23

A graphic that shows the left side with a couch and the words "Friends Trivia Night" and on the right side, the date and time of the event.

If you know what color Monica’s apartment was (purple), the name of Joey’s manager (Estelle), which fruit Ross is allergic to (kiwi), Chandler’s last name (Bing), the occupation of Rachel’s fiance Barry (orthodontist), or any of the words to Phoebe’s song “Smelly Cat,” then you should probably sign up for B-P’s “Friends” Trivia Night (“The One Where They Play Friends Trivia”) to be held virtually, 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, April 23.

The fundraiser will benefit the B-P Elementary School Drama Club. The event will be livestreamed on the district’s Facebook page and the trivia game will take place simultaneously on the Kahoot platform, which can be accessed via a web browser or on the Kahoot app.

The trivia game will be co-emceed by BPES principal Dan Casey and assistant principal Kerri Barker, who will be dressed in costume as characters from the hit TV show.

Team registration costs $10 and can be completed through B-P’s MySchoolBucks program using THIS LINK. B-P students, families, and community members are welcome to participate. Teams can consist of any number of people and registration must be completed by midnight on Thursday, April 22. Once team registration is completed, an access code will be sent, which will allow the team access to play the trivia game on Kahoot.

Participating teams must have two devices to participate — one to watch the live stream of the event from the B-P Facebook page and another device to submit trivia answers on Kahoot.

Teams will compete in five rounds of trivia, each containing ten “Friends”-themed questions, and prizes will be awarded to the team that wins each round.

In addition to playing trivia, the BPES Drama Club will raffle off several “Friends”-themed baskets, a 32” Roku TV, and a Keurig machine. Raffle winners will be announced after each round of the trivia game. Raffle tickets will cost $1 for one ticket, $2 for five tickets, and $5 for 15 tickets, and can also be purchased on My School Bucks, using the links listed below.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the B-P Elementary School Drama Club, in support of their upcoming production of “Aladdin Kids.” The live musical show will take place June 4-6 on an outdoor stage being built at the BPES campus in Perth. Since the performance will be outside, the public will be able to attend. Tickets will be available for purchase on May 1.

If you are not able to participate in trivia night but would still like to support the BPES Drama Club, you can do so using this link on MySchoolBucks.
