Intermediate and Middle School students got to spend some time indoors this summer learning to code and work with robots. The “Nut Jobs Robotics Summer Camp”, hosted by the BPHS Robotics Team 8975 “The Nut Jobs”, was held in early August.
Past and present members of “The Nut Jobs” planned and ran the three-day camp. Students from grades 3-8 participated in STEAM activities which included building Edison Robots, building and racing Lego cars, constructing marshmallow catapults, and driving the Robotics Team robot “Beaker”.
35 kids from three districts participated in the Summer Camp.
