By a vote of 494 to 174 (74.0%), residents of the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District approved a $43,381,000 budget for the 2025-26 school year. The approved budget calls for a 3.94% spending increase from the 2024-25 school year and a tax levy increase of 2.80%, which is below the district's tax levy cap. The approved spending plan preserves all programs and adds math, Spanish, and Family and Consumer Science (FACS) teachers at the secondary school and a second RISE (Reaching Independence through Support and Education) room at the elementary school for students with special needs.
