Members of the Broadalbin-Perth community are invited to a school safety and security forum starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium at B-P Jr./Sr. High School.

During the forum, community members can expect to hear from Superintendent of Schools Stephen Tomlinson and District Safety Coordinator Wayne Bell about new and expanded efforts the district is making to improve safety and security in the schools, including strengthening relationships with local law enforcement agencies. Broadalbin-Perth’s newly hired school resource officers, Nicole Buckley and Kyle Harris, will also be on hand to discuss their roles. The district will also welcome Fulton County Sheriff Richard Giardino and Undersheriff Dan Izzo, who will be available to answer questions.
