The Broadalbin-Perth communications office strives to be the first and best source of information about the district, from the classroom to the boardroom. The office’s staff of communications professionals work with teachers, administrators and support staff to keep the community engaged in the schools, informed about district happenings, and inspired by the successes of our students.
The communications office manages the district website, as well as Broadalbin-Perth’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. Members of the communications staff also produce the annual wall calendar, budget newsletter, and other district-wide publications; support the district’s use of ParentSquare, B-P’s mass notification system, which can be accessed on a mobile app or through a web browser; manage the digital signage inside the schools and in front of B-P Elementary School and B-P Jr./Sr. High School; and represent the district when speaking with members of the local news media.
B-P communications specialists have won multiple state-wide and national awards for their work, including three Golden Achievement Awards and five Awards of Excellence for print and electronic media from the National School Public Relations Association.
