District launches NEW B-P branded ParentSquare mobile app

The Broadalbin-Perth School District announced today that they have launched a new B-P branded ParentSquare app. ParentSquare will be the district’s main method of communication for the 2020-21 school year, allowing for effective dialogue between parents and their children’s teachers, school and the district. The B-P branded ParentSquare app is free and available now for download on both iOS and Android devices. Download instructions are detailed below.

All members of the B-P community, including teachers, administrators, staff, parents, students and community members, are encouraged to sign up for their own ParentSquare account, which will enable them to stay up-to-date on communications from the Broadalbin-Perth district.

The new app will take the place of the generic ParentSquare app that some members of the community may already be using. In the newly designed app, B-P users will have a more personalized experience, with streamlined content. Effective immediately, the district is discontinuing the use of the old B-P app, which was powered by Blackboard.

Users who have accessed ParentSquare through a browser may continue to do so at www.parentsquare.com

Parents who are not regularly receiving messages from the district via email or text message should immediately contact Trisha Miller in the communications office at millert@bpcsd.org.

Broadalbin-Perth employees with an @bpcsd.org email address can log into their ParentSquare accounts in the app or web browser through Google using their B-P email address and associated password. B-P students in grades 7-12 can also access their accounts through Google using their B-P email address and password. Parents who haven’t yet registered for ParentSquare can do so using the email address or cell phone number they are receiving district messages through.
