The artwork of five Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School students will be featured at the 28th annual Fulton Montgomery Community College (FMCC) Juried Regional High School Art Exhibition. The pieces will be on public display April 1 through April 13, with an artist’s reception and awards ceremony scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. on April 13. The reception and awards ceremony are open to the public.
Freshman Julia Hammonds, sophomores Alix Shrome and Alex Brown, junior Noel Healy, and senior Hayleigh Hayes all had work selected for the show.
“After being postponed for two years, it has been exciting to be able to enter our students’ artwork into the FMCC regional juried exhibition again,” said high school art teacher Wendy Carroll. “This show is highly competitive and difficult to get into. I am very proud of the five students who were selected. They represent a varied group of grade levels and interests.”
