Food Services
Studies show that students who are well-nourished have increased problem-solving abilities, memory, verbal fluency, and creativity. The challenge is to make nutritious foods that students will actually eat. Broadalbin-Perth Food Services strive to provide a variety of daily choices that are not only nutritious but appealing to students in our schools.
Food Allergies
If your child has food allergies, please contact the nurse at your child’s school. The school nurse will work with the food services department to make sure your child is served only those foods that are safe for them to eat.
Free and Reduced-Price School Meals/Milk
Students may be eligible for free or reduced-price lunches if their families meet federal guidelines. The Free and Reduced-Price Meals/Milk Application must be completed and submitted to your child’s school every year in order for your child to maintain his or her eligibility. The application can be completed at any time during the school year.
Although breakfast and lunch are FREE for all B-P Elementary School students, parents should still complete the application for free and reduced-price meals and milk each school year.
