Food Services
Studies show that students who are well-nourished have increased problem-solving abilities, memory, verbal fluency, and creativity. The challenge is to make nutritious foods that students will actually eat. Broadalbin-Perth Food Services strive to provide a variety of daily choices that are not only nutritious but appealing to students in our schools.
Food Allergies
If your child has food allergies, please contact the nurse at your child’s school. The school nurse will work with the food services department to make sure your child is served only those foods that are safe for them to eat.
Free School Meals
All Broadalbin-Perth students are eligible to receive FREE school meals (one breakfast and one lunch per day), regardless of family income, through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Additional meals, snacks, and a la carte items may be purchased with cash or through a child's MySchoolBucks account.
Although breakfast and lunch are FREE for all B-P students, parents should still complete the application for free and reduced-price meals and milk each school year.
