Representatives from dozens of area businesses and career fields visited with B-P students in grades 6-8 Friday during the annual middle school college and career fair. Participating employers included Nathan Littauer Hospital, Target Distribution Center, the New York State Police, and Fulton County District Attorney Chad Brown.

Middle school counselor Stephanie Hotaling said the district uses Naviance testing to help students get in tune with their strengths and interests so they may align them with their graduation pathways and post-secondary goals. The counseling team organized the event so  the color of the presenters’ tablecloths respectively matched the color of the pathways detailed on a poster. Students prepared for the event by coming up with questions so they could get career advice from the presenters.
