'80s music to feature in March 5 Prism Concert to benefit a BPES student

Members of the Broadalbin-Perth Music Department invite the B-P community to dress up in their best 1980s gear, as they host their third annual PRISM Concert. The concert, titled "A Prism for Portia," will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Robert C. Munn Gymnasium and will feature songs from the 1980s. The music department will be collecting donations for BPES student Portia Robles, who is undergoing treatment for leukemia.

The concert will include songs from Michael Jackson, Tears for Fears, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Survivor, and more. Donations will be accepted at the door on behalf of Portia and her family to help with ongoing medical costs and travel expenses.
