B-P FBLA students advance to State Leadership Conference

Members of Broadalbin-Perth’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) team had a strong showing at the recent spring regional competition, joining students from Middleburgh, Cobleskill-Richmondville, Sharon Springs, Shenendehowa, and Peru for a day of events and presentations.

Seniors Logan Haight, who placed second in Job Interview, and Angela Leto, who placed second in Public Speaking have both qualified to compete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Rochester this spring.

After the winter break, club members will begin preparing for the state conference, where students will have the opportunity to compete in multiple events among more than 80 offered at the state level.
