B-P pre-K students enjoy sweet learning experience at Cravings Bakery and Cafe

Broadalbin-Perth pre-K students recently enjoyed a special field trip to Cravings Bakery and Cafe, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at how a local bakery brings sweet treats to life.

During their visit, students explored the bakery, learned about the work that goes into making baked goods, and experienced firsthand how local businesses are part of the community around them. Experiences like this help young learners build curiosity, confidence, and real-world connections beyond the classroom. 

Families interested in enrolling their eligible child in pre-K at Broadalbin-Perth for the 2026-27 school year should submit completed registration packets by Thursday, May 21. Eligible children must be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2026. Spaces in the program are limited, and a lottery will be held if applications exceed available openings.
