Buildings and grounds team receives September MVP award

Congratulations to the September recipients of the Most Valuable Patriot (MVP) award, the members of the building and grounds team!

Building and Grounds Team

September's MVP award goes to a record number of individuals, as recognized by the district leadership team at the opening day program for staff on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Every day, Broadalbin-Perth's buildings and grounds team plays a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors alike. Their work often happens behind the scenes — but its impact is seen and felt throughout every classroom, hallway, and outdoor space in our district.

As the district makes much-needed upgrades through the ongoing capital project, the buildings and grounds team has gone above and beyond to ensure Broadalbin-Perth's facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming. Their flexibility, professionalism, and problem-solving have been essential in keeping B-P schools running smoothly during this period of change.

From early morning preparations to after-hours maintenance, the team takes great pride in their work — responding quickly to needs, maintaining high standards, and supporting a positive environment for teaching and learning.

Congratulations and thank you to the outstanding individuals who make up Broadalbin-Perth's buildings and grounds team, winners of the September MVP award: Lyndsie Adams, Joseph Bass, Robert Boswell, Richard Boyd, Pat Crannell, Cody Dopp, Pat Dopp, Shelby Edwards, Chad Ellis, Cameron Ferris, Michael Furman, William Gilston, Kyle Goldy, Bonnie Lawrence, Lorenzo Ortiz, Kristin Passino, Suzanne Petoff, Charles Rauch, Dominick Simone, Keegan Steele, Kenneth Stewart, and Brian Hayes

Each month, district employees are recognized through Broadalbin-Perth's MVP program. Each winner receives a B-P Yeti mug. Nominations can come from any member of the school community and all nominations should be submitted online. The deadline to nominate a B-P employee for the October MVP award is Tuesday, Sept. 30.
