Computer science students spread holiday spirit through seasonal apps

Students in Jenna Orapello's computer science classes at Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School brought some holiday cheer to their latest projects.

Junior high students researched holidays celebrated around the world and developed apps that provide images, holiday greetings, and information about their chosen holidays.

Senior high school students used programming languages Python and Java to create programs that ask users what holiday they celebrate. Based on the user's input, the program will respond with an appropriate holiday greeting.
