Nominating petitions now available for Board of Education candidates

On Tuesday, May 19, qualified residents of the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District will elect one person to serve a five-year term on the Board of Education. The vacancy is the result of the expiration of the term of board member Ryan Crane on June 30, 2026.

Nominating petitions may be picked up at the district office, located at 20 Pine Street, Broadalbin, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Signatures of at least 25 qualified district voters are required to nominate a candidate for the Board of Education. Petitions must be returned to District Clerk Lisa Schimmenti by 5 p.m. Monday, April 20.
