Rodriguez receives April MVP Award

Congratulations to the April recipient of the Most Valuable Patriot (MVP) award, computer support specialist Nestor Rodriguez!

Nestor Rodriguez, Computer Support Specialist

Computer support specialist Nestor Rodriguez has been with the district for two years, and he is also the dad of two B-P graduates.

"Nestor goes above and beyond to assist with any and all technology matters," wrote the co-worker who nominated him. "Nestor is resourceful and hardworking. If he doesn't know a solution, he is willing to research, test it out, and solve the problem. I appreciate his hard work, especially when it came to figuring out the greenhouse operating issues. Nestor… worked tirelessly to get the greenhouse functioning. I am happy to say it is now operating well with plants inside."

Rodriguez said receiving the MVP award made him feel very appreciated. "I didn't realize [the person who nominated me] thought that much of me," he said. "I'm happy to help, The greenhouse was fun to learn!"

“I moved here 10 years ago and it’s been great ever since,” Rodriguez added. “I love working here."

Each month, two district employees are recognized through Broadalbin-Perth's MVP program. Each winner receives a B-P Yeti mug. Nominations can come from any member of the school community and all nominations should be submitted online. The deadline to nominate a B-P employee for the May MVP award is Mon, May 5.
