Pre-K and kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year now open
Registration for the full-day pre-K and kindergarten programs at Broadalbin-Perth Elementary School are now open for the 2025-26 school year. Both programs are free for Broadalbin-Perth residents.
Broadalbin-Perth families with children who will be four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025, are invited to register their children for the district's full-day prekindergarten program for the 2025-26 school year. Children who will be five years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025, should be registered for the district’s kindergarten program. Children who are currently attending Broadalbin-Perth's pre-K program do not need to be registered for kindergarten.
Broadalbin-Perth's full-day pre-K program serves as many as 90 eligible children each year; there are no enrollment restrictions for the kindergarten program. The school district provides transportation to and from school for all pre-K and kindergarten students, and optional before- and after-school childcare programs are available for a fee. School breakfast and lunch are also available free of charge to all students attending Broadalbin-Perth Elementary School.
If the district receives more than 90 completed applications for resident children for the pre-K program, B-P will conduct a lottery on June 1 to fill the available program slots. Completed applications must be received by May 23 to qualify for the lottery.
