Reading fun continues at BPES throughout the summer

Broadalbin-Perth Elementary School has big plans this year for the summer reading program. New this year, students are invited to take a photo of where they are reading and submit it on the BPES Summer Reading page. 

Those looking for an in-person experience are invited to attend the Summer Storytime, which will take place in the BPES library on Wednesday, July 10, 17, and 24. Each event will start at 12:15 p.m. and will include two stories, a craft, and a snack. 

For a sweet treat, students are invited to attend "Scoops and Stories" on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will take place at BPES, near the big playground. Attendees are asked to bring a towel and books. Everyone will have the chance to select a treat from the ice cream truck that will be on site. Attendees will be encouraged to combine their towels with friends to share their favorite stories.
