Warner Bros. Games operations engineer visits BPHS computer science students

Students at Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School recently had the opportunity to learn about the video game production process from someone who helps create them. Alex Renna, an IT Operations Engineer at Warner Bros. Games, stopped by BPHS to talk to students about video games, the development process, licensing, and more. Renna is a member of the B-P community and works for Troy-based Warner Bros. Games New York.

The presentation also fell on launch day for the latest Warner Bros. Games title, MultiVersus – the free-to-play platform fighter videogame which features a variety of different, well-known characters.

Students walked away from the presentation with a better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes for creating some of their favorite video games. Students were also given an example of career opportunities available to them, along with the idea that you can work in a small town for a big company.
