Projects on display at the BPIS Science Club fair

This week 19 students in the BPIS science club impressed family and friends as they presented their final science projects at the BPIS Science Club fair.

“It was so nice and refreshing to see young minds at work and loving science,” said Nancy Curley, who is a club advisor along with fifth-grade teacher Kristen Forest. “The children were very proud of all the hard work. We were both also extremely proud of them.”

Students selected their own project topics. They designed and created their own displays by completing research and making models or actual experiments. They also practiced the speeches they delivered to family and friends. The students worked toward the fair since early fall, meeting regularly on Mondays and Tuesdays.
