Remember “Conjunction Junction” and “Just a Bill”? Join members of the B-P Elementary Drama Club for a night of nostalgia as they perform “Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.,” a high-energy show based on the popular, award-winning 1970s cartoons that teach lessons through clever, catchy tunes.

Performances are May 10-12 in the middle school gymnasium. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday’s show is a 1:30 p.m. matinee. Tickets cost $5 each and will be sold at the door.

“Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.” follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music.

The elementary drama club has received financial support from the B-P Education Foundation, the Charlie Lovett Fund for Elementary Drama, BPHS Drama Club, Stewart’s Holiday Match, and the Walmart Community Fund.
