Three BPMS 7th grade students from Ms. Fagan’s English class have won awards in a national writing contest. Ephram Harvey, Victoria Tambasco, and Ethan Monroe won the Young Writers 2019 Creativity Award for Talent in Writing from Young Writers.
The students submitted their works to the Young Writers’ Survival Sagas: Mission Catastrophe contest last year, and were part of more than 7,500 entries. Students had just one hundred words to tell their stories, and winners were chosen based on creativity, originality, and use of language.
Ephram, Victoria, and Ethan now have the option to have their work published in the Young Writers’ Anthology, and Broadalbin-Perth Middle School will receive a complimentary copy of the anthology upon publication.
Congratulations to Ephram, Victoria, and Ethan!
