Welcome back, B-P!

For the first time in six months, students walked the halls of Broadalbin-Perth schools Monday, Sept. 14. Although masks were covering the first day of school smiles, teachers and students alike were happy to be back in the classroom.

Sept. 14 also marked the first official day of the new B-P Elementary School (pre-K through grade 6) and B-P Jr./Sr. High School (grades 7-12). Broadalbin-Perth reorganized the schools a year earlier than anticipated after getting a head start on capital project construction this spring because of the pandemic.

Broadalbin-Perth is celebrating the return of students and the start of the 2020-21 school year on social media all this week. Parents are encouraged to tag @BPpatriots and use the hashtag #WelcomeBackBP on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They can also email their back-to-school photos to Trisha Miller in the B-P communications office at millert@bpcsd.org by Thursday, Sept. 17.
