Annual tradition returns after a yearlong hiatus; reservations required by Wednesday, Dec. 8
After a yearlong hiatus, an annual holiday tradition that dates back decades is making a big return to the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District. B-P’s PTO is hosting “Winter Wonderland Breakfast with Santa” at B-P Elementary School (1870 County Hwy 107, Amsterdam, NY 12010) from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, December 11.
Reservations are required and must be made by Wednesday, Dec. 8. Families of B-P students can make reservations through ParentSquare. Any member of the community who would like to attend can make reservations by emailing email@example.com.
The event is $5 per person and children under the age of three will be admitted for free.
Seating will be by family in half-hour time slots, with the first reservations starting at 9 a.m., and the last at 11:30 a.m. After breakfast, families may enjoy the path to Santa that will include wreath and basket raffles, vendors, and more fun, culminating with a visit with Santa Claus. The PTO’s annual Holiday Shoppe will also be open for guests to visit before they exit the building.
Everyone in attendance over the age of two, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face mask at all times, except while eating. Capacity restrictions are in place to allow for social distancing during breakfast, and event organizers ask families to maintain social distancing throughout the event. The district asks anyone who is not feeling well to please not attend.
